Val's unpaved path
I'm here to share that there is a rewarding life on the unpaved path once you whack away the weeds at the entrance you'll see it's worth stepping forward. I took the fuel from being stuck in an extremely toxic work environment where I had tenure as a college professor and could have stayed until old age with a decent paycheck, benefits, and school schedule. I realized there was something else burning as I was really just in a hamster wheel. I spoke to my inner self and asked the little girl I once was what she wanted to do. The vision for a new path came in 2015 and by the end of 2018 I walked away from that so-called safety to take the first steps to where I am today. Now I'm here to lend that helping hand to you, to help you dig up your buried treasure and to find those weed-whacking tools to get on your way.
I didn't grow up in the countryside, but I was in Girl Scouts and enjoyed connecting to nature. In the rat race of adult life, I lost that connection. Now, I caretake 17 acres of loveliness in rural Tennessee along with animals including cats, chickens, and donkeys. I provide space for the creative flow and reboot getaways.
At my core, I'm a connector - a listener, a teacher, a puzzler, a motivator, an advocate as well as a certified Forest Therapy guide. I'm here to help you at whatever step of the journey you find yourself with something inside telling you there's more out there for you.
Let's get started today!
When you say "if I could, I would" What does that look like?
